Origin[]
Horku Kryghue comes from Ovacron Six in Sector 0002, the same homeworld as Green-Lantern Hannu. As a matter of honor, their species relies on their brute strength, rather than using weaponry
Sinestro Corps[]
A member of the Sinestro Corps, Horku was on Qward during the capture of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, then known as Ion. Horku later took part in the massive assault on Earth. He saw a lone Green Lantern above Mount Rushmore an easy target, and led the charge against Honor Lantern Guy Gardner. Horku’s time as a member of the Sinestro Corps was dramatically cut short by Honnu. The Green Lantern’s fist went right through Horku, and the Sinestro Corps ring sought out another candidate from Space Sector 2, selecting a Reach scarab on Earth.
The Blackest Night[]
At the start of The Blackest Night, Black-Lantern Power-Rings began resurrecting the many dead across the universe which included the recently slain members of the Sinestro Corps War. This included Amon Sur and Horku; both of whom travelled to Zamaron where they confronted Sinestro.
